Jacobin Magazine
Objective: To redesign a current magazine, including the featured articles in the magazines, and also develop an interactive eBook for the same magazine. My initial step was to read and get the zest of the featured articles as it gave me insights about the content of the magazine showcases their audience. With those featured articles, I wanted their unique voices within that magazine that reflect the mood and feeling they radiate.
With the construction of the eBook, the creative thinking needed an overhaul as the composition was supposed to fit the smart device but with the same amount of article pages, images, and pull quotes. Animations and interactive elements have to be implemented to have a rich user experience and better accessibility.
